Jim Sweeney – Creator
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Jim grew up with a passion for sports.
Participating in sports like basketball, football, baseball, swimming, soccer and street hockey, Jim wound up playing basketball at Boston College and captaining the Eagles form 1977 to 1980. Jim also received the Francis Pomeroy Naismith Award as the top NCAA Collegiate basketball player under six feet tall. Following his Boston College graduation, Jim enjoyed a brief basketball career in Europe.
After a 20 year career in the computer industry where he built a $50M per annum business, Jim closed up shop to pursue sports – and fun – yet again.
Jim created MIKE as his entertaining alter-ego and expects MIKE to become the first ever animated sports brand and to be seen on television, top sports web sites and Jumbotrons in arenas and stadiums acround the world. Jim also anticipates that the www.theemike.com web site will become a premier destination for smart sports humor.

Now in his 50′s and living on the West Coast of Florida, Jim continues playing basketball regularly (though a lot more slowly . . . ) while creating and laughing in his new line of work.
